Basically, sweet Twinks and criminal, murderous Daddies find true love. There is plot - mostly related to unrealistic, illegal, underworld activities and acts of revenge. Lots of porn, mostly Dom/Sub of various stripes and truly creative and copious profanity. If any of that bothers you this book is best avoided. If it fits your particular kink, or even if you're just open minded and able to suspend disbelief and 'real world' morality, this is a fun read. The author has professional writing mechanics and is talented in drawing interesting characters, including secondary. Sprinkled amongst the larger than life personalities and behavior is some actual character growth. Strange love affirming. IMO if you liked Sin City you'll like this.One caveat- this is part one. NOT COMPLETED. Ends on a pretty major cliffhanger. The first entry in the 'Gods and Monsters' series was released about six months previously although it was a stand alone story. The author may release a sequel to this earlier but who knows.

Great story. Love the characters and their differences. I like that things don't work out perfectly for the characters. The MC's are Thade & Rex. Things are hard for them. They are flawed. I love how their love dynamic is different. I really like how well that was written, bc if not written well, that could've been the downfall in the story. The writing is hardcore. Gritty & dirty. Well-balanced. No cookie-cutter dopey sappy happy kinda story here. And I loved it!!! 5+ stars
Now I do like me some m/m most days, I do like bikers, mobsters are good( not literally) and this was described, I think as anything but your typical romance. But Hades and it's predecessor, "Menoetius can only be described as raw, rough and definitely not your run of the mill, everyday love story(s) BUT love stories that they are! Oh how I Loved them and think you will too. Expect different, expect ......The unexpected and love every minute!

Wulf continues to go from strength to strength as an author. There are still some typos and grammatical errors I wish his proofers had found for him (as English is not his first language) but given the substance and quality of his stories, it is well worth overlooking them.
I couldn't put this down. Completely drawn in and caring about (most of) the characters I needed to know what happened next and now feel invested enough to believe I know what I want for some of them in the (much desired) sequel(s). When that happens you know you are enjoying your read.

First off CLIFFHANGER ENDING
I seriously dislike getting to the end of a long book and the major plot line is not resolved. Only two of the main characters ever spend time together. Kemono has no interaction with Hades or Rex. There are parts from his point of view, but I think to include him as a major character in the description is misleading. 3 stars for no cliffhanger warning and misleading description.
Aside from that, the sex is good and mildly kinky (spanking, pierced genitals, barebacking, and Dd/lb kink in language) with a few scenes of heavier stuff (Watersports, mainly) towards the end. Lots of violence. Lots of swearing. Quick read.
It takes a person who understands that it's hard loving monsters and makes people who play in the dark simply enchanting...Daddy Hades took me in the same ways he took Rex, I feel as through I wish it were darker that the author left nothing off of the table. All the same this book was a masterpiece in my opinion a day I actually enjoyed translating some,of the words in Google translate, I thought that was what set's this style of writing apart in such a unique way because it fit the characters and the situations that took place in their life. The erotic scene's in this book were written out carefully and with some actual forethought, I appreciated that.
I think what had me nervous and a bit timid was how much I related to the authors stories, how it felt as though he was laying me bare and telling the world things about how I felt about myself and how I saw myself personally. I have not felt touched and so understood in two books in a good long while.
Fair warning, this novel gets graphically dark at times, and will likely push the most jaded reader’s envelope a tad. Nevertheless, there is no doubt that Mr. Godgluck has a natural talent of writing brutally dark and gripping stories about roguishly bad men, and the intrepid souls that fall for them. This gritty novel is truly the first half of a story about two viciously violent men who happened to be in love with the same young man. It is also the second book in the Of Gods and Monsters series.
Mr. Godgluck is very good at writing emotional and flawed complex characters, which makes the story that much more tangible and richer. The chemistry between Hades and Rex Hunter is off the charts. Godgluck does an awesome job of building tantalizing sexual tension between them, and when he introduces the third person in this lethal triangle, he will definitely have you wondering just how it’s going to work. Unfortunately, you won’t find out because the novel ends with a doozey of a cliff hanger.
I really do like this book; however, there were times Godgluck got a bit too enthusiastic on the detailed background information, and characters personal angsts that it made for a long draggy story at times—especially at the end. Furthermore, the adjectives and pet names became for me, eye-roll worthy by chapter three. Also, I have nothing against cursing in a book; in fact, there is nothing like a good F-bomb or bombs placed in the right moments. However, when you abuse it and its fellow curse words, characters for me start to come off absurdly juvenile.
Anyway, I really do hope fellow readers you give this story a read, it is a fun ride despite knowing you’ll be cursing Godgluck when you come the end, but I’ve read he will be coming with its sequel fairly soon.
